Native English UK trained Teacher with over 40 years’ experience working as a Teacher/Governess/Nanny. She has extensive international experience in teaching children aged 3 -12 years old. She has over 6 years’ experience working with a family as a Rota nanny and for the last 10 years has worked as a Governess for 4 Russian families. Ruth has longevity in her CV and has also worked as a temporary Nanny/Governess, providing both educational and emotional care for children. She has a passion for working with children who have English as a second language, and have successfully taught many children to read and write. She is very flexible, punctual and an organised individual.  Ruth specialised in Early Years teaching so has a lot of understanding of working with younger children and love art/crafts activities, imaginative play and singing and dancing. She is passionate and loves travel having extensive experience travelling within her role. She is very flexible and a team player having worked alongside a team of nannies within her previous roles. Her day to day care  included her social and cultural development, organising fun and interesting age appropriate activities for her and her friends, and driving her to and from school. She recently did 3 months back with this family as a temporary Nanny/Governess which included a good deal of proxy parenting.
